Do you know what's worse than receiving rejection letters? I can handle rejection letters, but receiving a rejection letter in the mail along with the score you submitted kind of hurts. Not only do they think your music sucks, but they are physically handing back the piece they rejected in the first place. This is the piece you spent hours on, not to mention a few overpriced bucks you sacrificed to the cruel corporate entity we composers know as FedEx Office (formally known as FedEx Kinkos, formally known as Kinkos).
