This is a quick shout-out to my friend Paul Schuette who has a concert of his and John Cage's works at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival.

If you're in town, you should go. Because current events influence most of these works (via radios and newspapers), the concert is based in the present, not in the past. Sometimes I feel "the past" drags down current compositional works; it doesn't happen here.
